Shields, 2018
Durational Performance
Shieldsis a durational work performed at a multi-disciplinary exhibition by the Glasgow School of Art People of Colour Society. Simultaneously an act of self-care and an act of defiance, this exhibition created space for vital conversations while challenging the lack of visibility for artists and students of colour within the city of Glasgow.
Shieldswas later developed and performed at Project X Presents Project O, a night of immersive dance and performance curated by Project X for Buzzcut Double Thrills.
